Look no farther than iLoveKickboxing, a new franchise now open at 530 Kings Highway Cutoff.

Kurt and Susan Gillis, who opened their first iLoveKickboxing in Shelton three years ago, opened the space on Friday and began interval training classes that feature intense bursts of exercise followed by short rest periods.

“Kickboxing is an amazing form of exercise,” said manager Vince Varsh. “We start with a warm up and stretching, followed by kickboxing moves and techniques. The first 15 minutes are intense. People usually want to kill me.”

Classes are co-ed and tailored to people’s fitness levels and needs.

In celebration of the grand opening, iLoveKickboxing is running a special promotion of three classes at 50 percent off and free gloves.
