A 12-screen movie theater is also part of the plan to replace the Sears anchor store at the Paramus Park Mall, NorthJersey.com reports.
The farm-style supermarket would occupy the first floor of Sears and include a wine department, outdoor seating areas and displays, fresh food stations and more, the article says.
The facade of the store would include the signature farm silo of Stew Leonard's, NorthJersey.com said.
The movie theater, with a bar, kitchen, and a lounge, would be on the second floor of the Sears space, the story said.
The plan is subject to approval by the borough’s zoning board of adjustment, with hearings set for next year.
Stew Leonard’s already has a presence in New Jersey, with wine stores in Paramus and Clifton.
The first Stew Leonard's opened in Norwalk in 1969, with other stores in Danbury and Newington as well three in New York State. The newest location opened in August in East Meadow, N.Y.
