NEWTOWN, Conn. — The newly formed chapter of B.A.C.A. -- Bikers Against Child Abuse -- in Newtown is holding its first open house on Saturday, July 9, from noon to 8 p.m.
There will be food, refreshments, merchandise for donation, vendors and two bands providing entertainment.
The cost is $10 per person.
The purpose of the event is for B.A.C.A. to introduce itself to the community.
The B.A.C.A. has been in Connecticut for over 10 years. This new chapter in western Connecticut was formed to better manage the group's issues in the state as a whole. The group is a registered nonprofit with chapters all over the world.
All proceeds from the event go towards the western Connecticut chapter of B.A.C.A. to help abused children.
