For 25 years, May has appeared at the biggest venues, slayed every late-night audience multiple times, recorded a special for every comedy-loving network on television, traveled the world for the USO and reached the level of popularity few stand-up comedians have attained.

Yet, little compares to the amount of exposure he received when Netflix exclusively launched his new comedy special “Unruly” at the same time it released the new season of “House of Cards” – the biggest launch in Netflix history.

Don’t miss the chance to see May live, as he riffs on pop culture, race, his own excesses, the dangers of meeting Anderson Cooper and the mesmerizing deliciousness of Chick-Fil-A.

Before the show, visit Dog & Pony, 378 Main St., Ridgefield) for dinner and enjoy a free glass of house wine or draft beer with dinner.

Since May's debut on season one of "Last Comic Standing," audiences can't get enough of the larger-than-life comedian. May's love of hip-hop culture has earned him roles in such films as "For Da Love Of Money" and "Gas." He also was the only white comedian to perform on "The Big Black Comedy Show."

On the small screen, May has worked as a writer and producer on ESPN's Mohr Sports starring Jay Mohr and performed stand-up on numerous late-night talk shows, including "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn," "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

He also has appeared on "The Man Show" and MTV's Bash, as well as guest-starred on NBC's "Whoopi."

For tickets ($40), call the box office at 203-438-5795 or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org.

The show starts at 8 p.m.
