Program For Families Dealing With Mental Illness Offered in Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. --Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church in Ridgefield will host an educational program designed to assist and educate families with a member suffering from mental illness. It's called NAMI Family-to-Family.

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session education program for families or friends who want to better understand what happens to a family when there is mental illness in a family member.

It will help participants understand what they need to do to help the person with mental illness, as well as themselves. Classes begin Thursday, and will be from 6:30-9 p.m. every Thursday. To register or for more information, call 203-940-2516 .
