NEWTOWN, Conn. -- The Matthew Curtiss House Museum in Newtown will be decorated for the holidays.
Step back in time with a tour of Newtown's very own house museum.
Built in the mid-1700s, the house witnessed, as a private residence, more than 250 years of Newtown's history--from the birth of America to the Age of Aquarius. The society purchased then it, returned it to its original state, and gave it its second life as a museum. The tour will take place Sunday, Dec. 6, from noon-4 p.m., at the Matthew Curtiss House, 44 Main St.
