What Makes It Patty Perfect: According to Owner Joey Catalano who runs the eatery with his wife, Ania (the two are both chefs), the burgers here are either grass-fed or premium. "Our beef is a custom blend of brisket, short rib, and sirloin. They have a rick, steak-like flavor," he said.

Even better: They come with a dizzying array of gourmet toppings and are grilled. It's what sets them apart, explained Catalano.

Being that the restaurant is on the water, there are specialties with sea-themes, including "Shipwrecked," a burger piled high with homemade onion rings and melted blue and swiss cheeses. SOS is uniquely topped with buttery pulled pieces of lobster -- and is Ania's invention, The SOS stands for "Sofia's Outrageous Surf 'n Turf" named for the couple's daughter whose favorite food is"burgers and lobster.
