TRUMBULL, Conn. — It might be frigid outside, but there's a positive side to that: The Frog Pond at the Nichols Improvement Association in Trumbull is now open for skating.
"The pond is ready!" exclaims a Facebook post from the NIA in Trumbull.
The ice is thick enough on the pond to use it for ice skating and hockey.
"Shoveling to keep the ice clear of snow is appreciated as is taking any garbage with you and keeping the area clean," said a Facebook post.
The rink is open only to members of the Nichols Improvement Association.
