Launched Nov. 1, the Fairfield-based online retailer HolidayInABoxShop.com is tapping into a growing craze for all things curated.

The company offers a selection of holiday décor collections aimed squarely at those seeking relief from their to-do lists during the busy holiday season.

The six curated collections are "Storybook Christmas," "Enchanted Silver," "Joy of Birch," "Seaglass Beach," "Vintage Red & Silver," and "Modern White & Gold."

Each is a "treasure trove of the season's best upscale holiday décor, including keepsake gems from near and far," said Jennifer Bebon, Holiday in a Box Shop founder and creative director.

"The result? Coordinated show-stopping interior décor tableaus that are delivered direct to customers in one delightful box."

Bebon discussed the "age of the curated lifestyle," where consumers have everything from gourmet meal kits to fashion ensembles assembled by pros and delivered to their doorsteps.

"Holiday in a Box Shop fills a void in the multi-billion-dollar holiday decorating industry by giving Internet-savvy holiday decorating enthusiasts what they crave most: the tools and the confidence to do it themselves, effortlessly and affordably," she said.

"We shop tirelessly until we find unique pieces we know will become family favorites for generations to come." she added. "Then, we tie our collections up in a bow and deliver them to consumers, along with inspiring ideas for how to display our collections in their own homes. Giving our customers the opportunity to participate in the creative process, while crossing a major time-consuming task off their check-list, is our goal."

"Holiday in a Box Shop delivers effortless curated holiday décor to online shoppers." she said. "All they have to do is greet the deliveryman at the door, unwrap and enjoy," said Seattle-based interior designer Wendy Bumgart of Inspired Elegance, who is a consultant to Holiday in a Box Shop.

"Curating our finds into one-of-a-kind collections has been a labor of love for our team," Bebon added. She said her team of curators shops the globe for the best products. She and her sister Mari Flicker created the business with their friend Cheryl Engstrom.

The business also offers individual add-ons for the collections. "We wanted to provide the core collection, that can be used on its own, but also allow our customers to add their personal touches with additional pieces that all work within the theme of their favorite collection," Bebon said.

"We make it so easy to decorate with confidence. Simply open the box and place our special items on your table, mantel or other location in your home," Bebon said. "During the stressful holiday season, decorating with Holiday in a Box Shop could not be easier."

Although launching with the Christmas collections, the shop's curators are already shopping for spring and will offer collections for every season of the year.

"When the Christmas holiday decorations come down, there is always such a letdown," Bebon said. "We want to offer our customers fresh, new collections to help them decorate their homes for every season of the year."
