The minute she heard OneHope Wine donates 50 percent of its profits to partner causes, she was "in."

"I just like the philosophy and the idea of giving back," she said. "And who doesn't love wine?"

The company is based out of Napa Valley, CA and collaborates with the Mondavi Family. Wine is sold by the bottle, half case or full case.  Customers can also order from an array of gift boxes and collections.

Some of the causes the company donates to include those for feeding children in need, clinical trials for women with breast cancer, environmental causes (planting trees, providing clean drinking water, saving endangered species etc), finding animals forever homes, funding children's literacy education, autism, Alzheimers, disaster relief, heart disease, crisis lines for the LGBTQ community and more. Each bottle is tied to a specific cause.

Goldman said the wines are also a great way to fundraise for local 501c3 nonprofits. For example, she recently did an event for an area dog shelter and has plans to be at a vendor fair to raise money for suicide prevention.

Aside from the "do good," part of the business, the mom of one likes that this new business allows her flexibility while also offers a great way to meet new people. The Fairfield resident does a lot of wine tasting parties all over the county.

Those that opt for events in their home/business can choose a charity of their choice and have 15 percent of their event exclusive sales go to their specific charity.

Orders are placed online through Goldman's personal link www.viaonehope.com/LisaG.

For wine tasting events, she'll create a separate party link so that the host/hostess can earn perks (free wine/merchandise from OneHope Wine). All wine is delivered via UPS and deliveries take approximately one week.

Selling big now: an Edna Valley Reserve pinot noir that supports educating people on the risk of heart disease in both a "regular" bottle and a red glitter option. Goldman said the glitter ones do well for anniversaries, showers and birthdays. The Red Glitter bottle is $69.; the Edna Valley reserve is $23.99.
