NEWTOWN, Conn. — An indoor cycling studio is sponsoring a benefit ride to help a 7-year-old Newtown girl with an aggressive form of brain cancer.
BoostCycle will hold the benefit ride from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 22, to raise funds for Aubrey Szasts, who suffers from DIPG, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
The cost is $15 per ride.
BoostCycle’s “Ride Boost for Aubrey” is part of Newtown’s annual Family Fun Fest at Fairfield Hills Campus.
BoostCyle’s owners are Tatiana and Valdrin Mehmeti.
”This is our first outdoors ride and it couldn’t be for a better cause," said Tatiana Mehmeti. "We enjoy working with kids and will do so every chance we get.”
