BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A ruptured pipe caused the relocation of about 100 city residents late Friday, according to police spokesman Av Harris.
Residents of the Success Village apartment complex off Success Avenue were being moved by the city’s Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security after the 10:45 p.m. incident, Harris said.
City workers set up cots for those who might need shelter, but as of 3 a.m. Saturday, no one had sought refuge, Harris said.
