All Aboard: Metro-North Running Substitute Bus Service On Danbury Branch

DANBURY, Conn. — Metro-North will run buses in place of trains on select trips between South Norwalk and Danbury this weekend to accommodate work in the vicinity of Catherine Street.

Metro-North will be making grade crossing and infrastructure improvements at the crossing along the Danbury Branch. 

Buses will be used for select trains between Danbury and South Norwalk on Friday, May 19, and for all trips on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21.

Buses will operate about 15 minutes sooner than the usual train schedule, Metro-North said.
