Metro-North To Run Buses On Danbury Branch Weekends In April

DANBURY, Conn. -- Metro-North Railroad will provide substitute bus service for Danbury branch customers between Danbury and South Norwalk on weekends in April.

Substitute bus service will occur for the Danbury branch between Danbury and South Norwalk the first four weekends of April due to track crossing work.

Substitute bus service will occur from Friday through Sunday April 1-3, 8-10, 15-17 and 22-24 due to track crossing work at various locations. 

Buses will run around 15 minutes earlier than scheduled trains. Commuters are advised to listen for announcements and check local or express service to their destination while boarding.

The Danbury branch includes stops at Danbury, Bethel, West Redding, Branchville in Ridgefield, Cannondale in Wilton, Wilton, Merritt 7 in Norwalk and South Norwalk.
