Metro-North Trains Back On Schedule After Delay Due To 'Fire Activity'

original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Trains on the New Haven Line were experiencing up to 90-minute delays early Sunday afternoon due to earlier "fire department activity" in the vicinity of South Norwalk, Metro-North said on its website and on Twitter. 

The problems were first reported at about 11 a.m. and were continuing at 12:45 p.m., according to Metro-North's Twitter. The delays were first reported between Westport and South Norwalk. Trains were on a Sunday schedule. 

No further information was available on the fire activity in South Norwalk.
