He was always eager to lend a helping hand — whether it be driving his friends to driver’s education classes, helping a buddy fix their vehicle or cracking everyone up with a well-timed joke.

He was on wheels from a young age. He progressed from rigging up plywood ramps for his bicycle to racing motocross. His ability to take anything apart and put it back together better than the original was unparalleled.

He is survived by his mother, Eileen Fetchick; his father, Drew Fetchick; sister Kristen Fetchick; dog, Moto; and numerous friends and extended family members.

Services were held Sunday at Newtown Congregational Church.

Memorial donations can be made to the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps at www.newtown-ambulance.org or to the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue at www.sandyhookfire.com.
