Bethel Firefighters Battle Condominium Blaze

BETHEL, Conn. -- A fire in the Plumtree Heights Condominium complex drew firefighters from multiple fire companies on Saturday, according to patch.com.

No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze, which was fought by members of the Bethel, Stony Hill and Danbury fire departments, according to Patch.

The West Redding and Brookfield fire departments remained on standby during the fire while the American Red Cross sent representatives to the scene to assist the displaced residents, according to Patch.

At least one unit in the complex sustained heat, smoke and water damage, according to Patch.

The emergency was one of several for Bethel firefighters. According to a post on its Facebook page, the department responded to three EMS calls on Saturday, April 30, in addition to the fire.
