Members negotiated their way through an obstacle course that represented emergency situations, including floor/ceiling collapse, escaping confined spaces and low air emergencies. 

Firefighters practiced using wire cutters to free themselves from entanglements, following a hose line to exit untenable conditions, passing through a simulated wall and buddy breathing with their SCBA gear. 

Members were also required to call a "Mayday" to signal for help. This is one of many topics that firefighters are required to train on annually.
