Bethel Police Promote Officer To Sergeant

BETHEL, Conn. – The Bethel Police Department promoted James Christos, a 10-year veteran of the force, to sergeant, the News-Times reported.

Christos is now in charge of the department’s major accident team, the story said. He remains a field training officer and a member of the emergency services team, News Times reported.

The paper also reported the police department has been busy; it promoted Heather Burnes as the department’s first female sergeant, Steve Pugner as captain and Michael Libertini as lieutenant.
