BETHEL, Conn. -- Bethel police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an ATM-skimming case, according to a report in The Danbury News Times.
The suspect, who police say planted an “all-in-one” device in Bethel, is linked to two other skimming cases in New York City in August, the report said.
According to the Bethel police's Facebook page, the Bethel device was discovered and removed before the suspect returned to retrieve it, the story said. They do not believe that anyone’s personal information was compromised in the Bethel case, police said in the story.
He faces charges of criminal possession of a forgery device, police said in the story.
