Danbury Man Exposed Himself To 9-Year-Old, Police Say

DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man was charged on Friday, Sept. 16, with exposing himself to 9-year-old girl during a party.

Carlos Samaniego-Ortega of Danbury was arrested Friday on charges of exposing himself to a 9-year-old girl.

Carlos Samaniego-Ortega, 22, exposed himself to the girl during a party at a residence in Danbury in May, according to Det. Lt. Christian Carroccio.

Following the incident, Danbury Police Department's Special Victims Unit investigated the incident, and issued an arrest warrant for Samaniego-Ortega. He turned himself into police on Friday, said Carroccio.

He was charged with risk of injury to a minor and is being held on $75,000 bond.
