BETHEL, Conn. — Bethel police are seeking to identify the man who robbed a gas station in town late Thursday night.

At 10 p.m. Thursday, Bethel Police were called to the Gulf Station at 280 Greenwood Ave. on a report of a robbery.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash that "he had forced from the attendant," police said.

No weapons were displayed in the robbery, police said.

While on the scene, Bethel officers received another call reporting a man was attempting to break into a vehicle a short distance away, police said.

Police believe the incidents are related.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact the Bethel Police Department Detective Bureau at 203-744-7900.
