Monroe Volunteer Firefighters Resolve Problem At Pizzaland

MONROE, Conn. — Firefighters responded Friday night to a report of "an electrical burning odor" at McGowan's Pizzaland at 401 Monroe Turnpike, firefighters said.

Units responding from the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department found a malfunctioning and shorted electrical outlet, firefighters said. 

They isolated the power and resolved the problem.
