Occupant Freed From Car After Crash In Bethel

The Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the area of 87 Dodgington Road in Bethel at around 3 p.m. on a report of a motor vehicle accident. One person was pinned in the vehicle, with their knee heavily entrapped around the dashboard, according to fire officials.

Chief Galliford assumed command, and responders went to work extricating the person from the Honda CRV. It took about 15 minutes to free the victim. Bethel EMS and Bethel Paramedics provided aid on scene and the person was transported to the hospital.
