Kyle Ritchie, 37, of 15 Cider Mill Road, turned himself in to police Monday morning and was held on a $6,250 bond for an appearance in Norwalk court.

He's accused of issuing a pair of checks for a total of $4,500 in September that didn't have enough money in the account. Police said several unsuccessful attempts were made by the complainants and police to have him pay the amount.

A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.
