At about 2 a.m. on Feb. 4, police officers were dispatched on a report of a vehicle operating erratically and crossing multiple lanes of travel.

The vehicle was observed traveling westbound on Greens Farms Road. It traveled through the intersection with Hillspoint Road without stopping for the stop sign.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Luca Dore, 44, of Shelton, CT, according to police reports.

Dore appeared to be intoxicated and was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he reportedly failed.

Westport police said that Dore was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Drugs/Alcohol and a Stop Sign Violation.

Dore was released after posting $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Court on Feb. 14.
