Robert Hoha Jr., 39, was arrested July 21 and charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor, two counts of strangulation, two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of third-degree assault, police said.
He was held on $100,000 bond and was arraigned on July 24.
Police were called to the children’s home on July 19, after the children told their mother about the incidents.
This is not Hoha’s first arrest on a strangulation charge. On March 28, State Police arrested him on 11 charges, including second-degree strangulation, attempt to commit murder, illegal discharge of a firearm, reckless endangerment and first-degree threatening, according to state judicial records.
His bond was $200,000 in that case. He pled not guilty, records show.
