DANBURY, Conn. -- A female professor at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury was approached by a suspicious male driver Thursday morning, according to the News Times.

The man was described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s or early 30s, with a medium build and driving a red hatchback, according to the News Times. The car was an older model and possibly a Chevrolet, the News Times reported.

The man approached the woman after she parked her car on Dr. Roach Avenue and asked her to get into his car and give directions, police told the News Times. He also put his hands in his pants while speaking to the woman, and then drove off, the News Times reported.

The News Times reported that Danbury Police were also investigating a similar complaint, though it was unknown if it was the same incident or a similar one.
