The Facebook Live began Tuesday afternoon as Sens. Chris Murphy of Connecticut, Cory Booker of New Jersey and Brian Schatz of Hawaii decided to "take a field trip" and headed from the Capitol to the Congressional Budget Office. Their plan was to request a copy — nicely! — of the bill, which Republicans have not yet made public.
As they made their journey, the senators explained their concerns about the bill, all while debating who would pay for the cab and asking many they encountered which of the three states was their favorite. (Oh, Schatz paid for the cab ride, including tip, despite Bookers' hefty book deal, Murphy said.)

The three senators mixed in a lot humor as they traveled, but they also put the spotlight on what they called the "absurd" process by the GOP to keep the bill private.
In the video, Murphy says he is the "senior statesman" of the group and explained how Obamacare was passed in 2009 while he was in the House.
Spoiler Alert: They tracked down the correct building for the CBO — Murphy was briefly afraid they would mistakenly march into a Panera. But as they expected under the CBO rules, they failed in their quest to get a copy of the bill. ⠀
A vote is expected on the healthcare bill next week. ⠀
