Paving To Impact Traffic On Maple Avenue In Bethel

BETHEL, Conn. -- A section of Maple Avenue in Bethel will be closed during the day this week due to road work.

The road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Maple Avenue Extension and Plumtrees Road to Main Street for surface milling and paving. The closures will be daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work is scheduled to being Tuesday afternoon and continue through Monday, Aug. 21.

Drivers should follow detours and plan a an alternate route to avoid delays, if possible. Residents that live within the project zone will have access during the road closures.
