King is quick to cite her father as her main inspiration. Her mentors include Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Chaka Khan, Mavis Staples and Mahalia Jackson.

Charles began her musical career at age 19.

"I wanted to be the black Janice Joplin," she said. "But the producers said. 'You're Ray Charles' kid. You can't do rock, you have to do R&B.'"

Joining King and Charles onstage will be the Allman-Neville-Pitchell Band. Grammy Award-winner Charles Neville, of the legendary Neville Brothers, began playing the saxophone more than six decades ago. While still in his teens, he toured with Ray Charles, B.B. King and James Brown.

Guitar virtuoso Jeff Pitchelle has long cited B.B. King as one of his main influences. This award winning musician blends Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King and Jimi Hendrix with his own soulful, superb vocals.

Michael Allman looks and sounds like his father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Gregg Allman, but has his own distinctive style of Southern rock and blues.
