NEWTOWN, Conn. -- The Cyrenius H. Booth Library is hosting an event to show small business owners, home-based workers and entrepreneurs in Newtown the new initiatives and resources available at the library.
The event will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 8 to 9 a.m. in the meeting room.
Topics will include the facility’s monthly Brown Bag Business Hour of networking and educational opportunities, along with information about the library’s business meeting space featuring Skype and other virtual communication tools.
Additional areas of interest, including the Virtual Small Business Development Center, print and online business resources and the product development potential of the library’s 3D printer and maker space area, will also be discussed.
Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
The library is located at 25 Main St.
