"To Whom I May Concern" will feature Alzheimer's patients telling their stories using a reader's theater format.
Living with the complexities of advanced Alzheimer’s and dementia-related illnesses is difficult for families. Dealing with the earliest stages of dementia presents a different set of issues.
The Ridgefield Stephen Leaders Network, in conjunction with the Ridgefield Library and the Ridgefield VNA, is sponsoring "To Whom I May Concern."
The program will be on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. in the Main Program Room of the Ridgefield Library.
This program reaches out to people silenced by dementia in the early stage and encourages them to share their experience before an audience of caregivers, peers, and professionals. Each performance provides an ‘insider’s’ view of living with dementia that is courageous, often humorous, and always moving.
