Newtown, Bethel Rank Among CT's Best Places To Live

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- Newtown and Bethel were both ranked among the best places to live by community analysis website Niche.

Newtown was ranked 29th while Bethel came in at No. 47. New Canaan was the highest rated municipality in Fairfield County and placed behind only Simsbury throughout the state.

Niche compiled data across dozens of metrics including Higher Education Rate, Cost of Living Diversity, Crime and Safety, Jobs and Nightlife. The company then distilled these metrics into letter grades.

Newtown received an overall grade of A+ and got top marks in Public Schools and Family Friendliness. Bethel received an overall grade of A.
