The lessons will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Edmond Town Hall at 45 Main St. In Newtown.
“The Easybridge! lesson program offered at the club emphasizes fun and learning from playing. Beginners play in a game their first lesson,” said Georgeann Kishner who will present the lessons. “Players enjoy meeting others who are learning the game and many friendships are formed at the bridge table.”
The Easybridge! 1-course program is a 13-week series for beginners and players returning to bridge after some years. The format is a 20-25 minute lesson followed by play of 6 to 12 bridge hands. Players are encouraged to come to the lessons alone or with friends. The first two weeks of lessons are free; starting at week 3, the cost is $12 per lesson. An optional textbook is available for $15. The final lesson will be given on June 14.
