The program provides hands-on play and exploration in the museum's galleries on the second Thursday of each month from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. The program is free with museum admission and no advance registration is required.

“Activities are inspired by and take place among the art or science displays, making it a great opportunity to foster visual learning and development of your little one,” said Laura Stricker, a museum educator and manager who organizes the sessions.

The next Bruce Beginnings, Jr. program, on Nov. 10, will explore everything black, white and gray in the museum's newest exhibition, "Towards Abstraction, 1940-1985:

Brett Weston Photographs from the Bruce Museum Collection."  Activities for this session will include abstract sculpture building, mural coloring and felt shape play.

For additional information about the program, visit brucemuseum.org or call (203)-869-0376.

The Bruce Museum is at 1 Museum Drive in Greenwich.
