Deep: Shelton's Indian Well State Park Is Closed For Swimming

SHELTON, Conn. — If you’re looking for a place to beat the August heat, the swimming area at Indian Well State Park in Shelton is not an option for today.

The swimming area is closed to swimming Tuesday due to issues with water quality, according to the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.

Looking for another option? Squantz Pond in New Fairfield is open for swimming.
