Raymond Henderson, 61, of 14 Division St., second floor, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school. His bond was set at $25,000.

Members of the Special Investigations Division executed search-and-seizure warrants at Henderson's apartment in regard to illegal drug sales, police said.

Due to the large number of drug users and sellers who frequent Henderson’s apartment and the possibility of weapons being present, SID was assisted on the second arrest by the Community Conditions Unit and a contingent from the Danbury Regional SWAT team.

After Henderson was released from custody after his first arrest, police said that nearby residents said illegal drug activity had resumed at the Division Street apartment.

Police began surveillance and obtained search-and-seizure warrants for the second arrest as a result of their investigation.

Police executed the search warrants and found five people, including Henderson, in the apartment. Police said that while all of the occupants were known drug users Henderson was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Henderson was also arrested March 2 in a SWAT team raid of his apartment, police said. He was arrested that day with 50-year-old Anthony "Lewis" Jones of Hospital Avenue in Danbury.
