Newtown Police To Take The Penguin Plunge To Benefit Special Olympics

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- Newtown's finest will be among the brave swimmers diving into chilly Long Island Sound waters March 25 for a penguin plunge to benefit Connecticut Special Olympics.

Participants will take the plunge at Compo Beach in Westport that day to bring attention and raise money for the sports training programs for people with disabilities.
