The incident occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 16 when BIA dispatch was notified by Air Traffic Control of the disturbance on a flight due to land in about 10 minutes.

It was reported that United Flight 1887 from Denver had an intoxicated male passenger that was disrupting the flight attendants and other passengers, according to Connecticut State Police.

Troopers were in the terminal and met the plane on its arrival at the gate. The man, Jeffrey Levasseur, exhibited signs of heavy intoxication and continued to be disruptive in the terminal, state police said, noting he "was very loud and used profanity numerous times."

Levasseur was subsequently arrested and charged with Breach of Peace. He was held on a $7500.00 cash bond.
