According Danbury Det. Lt. Christian Carroccio, the woman said the man was driving erratically around 2:30 p.m. Monday along Deer Hill Avenue. When the two pulled up next to each other at the intersection with Wooster Street, the two exchanged words.

After the exchange, the woman said the man got out of his vehicle, opened her car door and grabbed her arm as she called 911. He then took a baseball bat and smashed one of her taillights before leaving the area, Carroccio said.

The man is described as dark skinned, approximately 21-25 years of age, thin build, crew cut, wearing a black t-shirt and black sweat pants, Carroccio added.
