Lamont Apparent Winner Of CT Governor's Race; Murphy, Himes Easily Re-elected

Here's a rundown of the latest results from Tuesday's Midterm elections:

Governor

As of 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, with 99 percent of precincts reporting, Lamont has 661,560 votes to Republican Bob Stefanowski's 643,392 for a 48.4 percent to 47.1 percent advantage. Independent Oz Griebel has 54,108 votes for 4 percent.

U.S. Senate

Incumbent Chris Murphy (D) has easily defeated challenger Matthew Corey (R), 58 percent to 40 percent.

U.S. Congress

Jim Himes won Connecticut's 4th district by 23 percentage points over Harry Arora (R).
