13-Year-Old Stamford Girl Uses Power Of Lemonade To Help Cancer Patients STAMFORD, Conn. — After her aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer, a now-13-year-old Stamford girl was inspired to take action. “I did research and I found other organizations, and that’s basically when I started helping,” Grace Targonski told Daily Voice. Darien Chef Brings ’Farm-to-Table' Day Camp to Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. — For campers looking to explore the culinary arts and wellness in Norwalk, Jane Peters-Mossa has the perfect recipe — thepinkrhubarb’s summer programs. State Closes New Fairfield's Popular Squantz Pond Due to Water Quality NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn.— If you're looking to beat the July heat, Squantz Pond in New Fairfield is no longer an option for Wednesday. The swimming area at the popular state park is closed as of Wednesday morning due to issues with water quality, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced.
