There were hour-long delays on southbound I-684 on Wednesday morning after a crash that blocked the left lane near the Northern Westchester/Putnam border.
The crash at Hardscrabble Road (Exit 8) in North Salem resulted in stopped traffic at the scene at 9:30 a.m., and gridlock to I-84 (Exit 9).
The lane reopened around 10:30 a.m.
