City Releases More Details In Horrific Fatal Two-Car Crash In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The City of Bridgeport has identified the four people who survived a fatal two-car crash Tuesday, most of whom are still in the hospital. Pedestrian Shylane Michelle Crooks, 50, of Bridgeport, was killed in the crash on Huntington Turnpike near the corner of Priscilla Street, according to Police Capt. Robert Evans. Police: Indiana Man Charged In Hit & Run In Westport WESTPORT, Conn. — An Indiana man turned himself in to police Sunday in connection with a hit and run in October, police said. Anthony Buffa, 63, of Indianapolis, was charged with evading responsibility and following too closely, police said. On Oct. 27, a vehicle stopped at a traffic light at Compo Road North and Post Road East was struck from behind by a car rented by Buffa, police said.
